Living Room

This is the central part of the house & provides a great gathering space.

Our living room features a wood fired stove for guests to sit around for a cosy ambiance in the winter.

Dining Room

Directly connected to the living room the dining room shares the wood fired stove to sit around for a cosy ambiance in the winter. For the summer the doors open wide onto the main verandah which looks over the paddocks.

The dining table seats 8 and is extendable to 12.

Kitchen

We know you are away but you still need a kitchen!

There is a music unit for your own USB, or CD’s & AM & FM radio while you prepare your meals.

We also supply:

• Continental Breakfast
• Wine & Cheese
• Teas; leaf, tea bag & herbal
• Coffee; plunger or instant
• Milk

We also supply a continental breakfast of muesli, fruit, bread, Duninald honey & Tar 10 Marmalade.

There are all the expected kitchen appliances; a gas cooktop & electric oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and microwave and we also supply a great selection of cookbooks for your inspiration.

We also supply the usual saucepans, frying pans & baking dishes plus there is also a hand beater & muffin & cake tin if you feel inspired to do some baking. In the kitchen cupboard you will find an iron & an ironing board, broom & cleaning materials if you can’t wait for the cleaner.

We have enough cupboards for your weekend supplies and the kitchen is fully equipped for 12 places.

Or If you would prefer to cook on a barbeque, there is one on the verandah.

Bedroom 1 – The Queen Heritage Room

Our main bedroom featues a really comfortable queen sized bed positioned on the original timber floor from 1822.

This bedroom outlooks the verandah so you can walk out & enjoy the ambiance of the wood or take your morning coffee to your couch outside the door.

All bedrooms have luxurious Linen and towels. There is also hanging space and a place to put your suitcase.

Bedroom 2 – The King Bird Room

Inspired by the local birdlife, the bird room features framed etchings from the 1850’s. If this inspires you, take the binoculars that are available for you & see what birds you can see in the wood.

Bedroom 3 – The Double Room

This room has the most expansive views of the farm. This cosy room is your own retreat from the world when the blinds are down… but don’t forget to say hello natural world when you open the blinds.

Bathroom 1

Our main bathroom features a bath with a rain shower, basin and toilet.

Toiletries are provided.

There is a septic system so you are asked to be careful what you put down the toilet.

Sun Lounge

Great for dreaming, reading, or gathering with your group our favourite room filled with chill out couches you can take in the view, watch TV, read or play cards or any of the board games supplied.

The sun lounge features windows on two sides, a cedar table & 6 chairs for cards, scrabble or just a different location to eat.

Verandahs

There are 3 verandahs.

The front verandah is in the original form.

The side verandah which is off bedroom 1 has a cane couch & 2 cane chairs for a solitary contemplation of the world or a discussion about the state of the world..or whatever takes your fancy.

The main verandah which has another cane sitting set and a table & seats for dining.

Outside

You will see there is a garage… really only for one car but there are 2 other hard pads for parking ( important if it’s wet.)

At the back of the garage is a room which houses a washing machine & there is a cloths line that can be erected.

The is a boules court below the house, with boules provided.

One of the magical features of this property is the 25 acres of woodland that you have access to walk in.
There are trails through the wood…the main walk is down the hill around the billabong, up and over the hill past the bees (where your honey has come from) Down the hill & over the bridge. You can catch your breath& sit in the summer house before returning to the house.

The summer house is available to you to have meals in & there is a barbeque, table & seats.
